
Lasham Venison is a small family run, 'field to fork' cottage industry run by Kevin & Sarah Miskella from their home in the beautiful village of Lasham, just north of Alton in the Hampshire countryside.
Kevin is an experienced, trained hunter who, as a hobby, helps to maintain local deer numbers as part of an essential deer management plan to a sustainable healthy level on local farms and estates. Deer numbers in the UK are at an all time high and a considered management plan plays an important role in ensuring we have a healthy deer population in numbers that the countryside can sustain.
The by-product of this important task is locally produced and sustainably harvested, super healthy, prime venison meat, butchered, prepared, and packed at home on the premises in a dedicated larder. Lasham Venison has achieved a five-star rating from the food standards agency for its work in preparing this fantastic produce.
